- we remove water using a special device (we put a compressor and blow it with a strong air pressure);
- we make grooves in the form of the letter "P" along the length of the seams, junctions, etc .;
- we clean the grooves using a metal nap brush;
- remove the loose layer;
- we divide the leakage cavities using a perforator or a jackhammer (width - 25 mm, depth - 50 mm with a deeper expansion);
- we clean the cavity from porous stone material;
- saturating the polished surface with water - this is the main requirement when working with an innovative substance.
Preparation of the substance
To make a high-quality solution, we observe the proportions and, of course, listen to the recommendations of the architectural art guru:
- pour the substance into a plastic bucket - 1 kg and fill it with water - 0.4 l;
- mix the components with a perforator and a special nozzle for 3 minutes.

Care of the treated concrete surface
For an excellent result, for 75 hours the surface:
- we protect against any impact of climatic and mechanical factors;
- we moisturize regularly, otherwise cracks and peeling will appear.
Facing work
We decorate the structure with tiles, mosaics or other materials after 30 days. Before facing work, it is imperative to thoroughly clean the surface with a metal brush to improve adhesion. You can "lightly run" over the surface with a conventional grinder.

Penetron penetrating waterproofing is supplied as a dry mix. Packing - buckets of 5 or 25 kg. and craft bags 25 kg.
The purpose of the mixture is to increase the grade of water resistance of concrete, increase the cycles of frost resistance, strength and resistance to the negative influence of an aggressive environment. Concrete treated with Penetron does not lose its ability to conduct water vapor. Cracks with an opening width of up to 0.4 mm, under the influence of a penetrating composition, are filled with an active substance and closed.
The application of the Penetron mixture should be carried out at an ambient temperature of +5 to +40 degrees Celsius. During work, preferably, the absence of precipitation and strong winds.
Features of the additive Penetron Admix
Penetron helps to increase the water resistance of concrete, in addition, it removes microcracks and defects. Application is allowed on all sides of structures, regardless of the direction of fluid pressure.
Waterproofing systems are subdivided into two categories: primary - it is determined using the characteristics of the supporting structure. Secondary waterproofing, which is applied to this structure during waterproofing works and during repairs.
In primary waterproofing, water resistance is determined by the following characteristics:
- concrete;
- material of construction.
The denser the concrete, the less porous it is, and the higher its water resistance. The water resistance can be improved in various ways, in particular due to the introduction of additives into concrete at the stage of its production, in this case, the number and diameter of capillaries and the thickness of the cavities in it are reduced in concrete.
Penetron Admix is a dry additive that is added to the concrete mix. With her help increase the water resistance of concrete structures due to the fact that the pores are filled with crystalline new formations, while concrete is able to independently "heal" small cracks.
In an aqueous medium, the active components of Penetron Admix enter into a chemical reaction with ionic complexes based on aluminum and calcium, as well as together with salts and oxides found in concrete.
Technical characteristics of Penetron Admix
With the help of this composition, the grade of concrete for water resistance increases after processing. Moreover, the frost resistance of the material increases... Penetron can also be used for drinking liquid tanks.
Penetron Admix is the primary form of material protection, it helps to exclude waterproofing of the material after the required strength has been achieved.
Its use according to the instructions is allowed along with other additives, which are often used in concreting, for example, anti-freeze and plasticizing.
Application of decor after treatment with a penetron
After treatment with penetron paint or finishing material, the surface should be covered at least 28 days later. However, the holding time can be shorter or longer, depending on what are the requirements for a particular type of finishing material in relation to the moisture content of concrete.
Also, before applying a decorative coating to the surface after it has been treated with a penetron, it is mechanically cleaned to improve adhesion. For this purpose, a brush with metal fibers or a water jet is suitable.
How to care for the surface after processing
The care of the treated surface should be as follows:
- protect the surface after processing from mechanical stress and low temperatures for three days;
- make sure the surface is within three days was wet, and the coating did not peel or crack;
- in order to moisten the surface, apply water spray method and plastic sheeting for shelter;
- when it comes to a surface that has been treated by means of water pressure, its hydration period is two weeks.
