Manufactured products
Dakon manufactures various types of hot water boilers. These include:
- Dakon solid fuel boilers;
- Gas fueled;
- Electrical;
- Liquid fuel.
In many localities, a central gas supply has not yet been carried out, therefore, Dakon solid fuel boilers, dor series, which use wood and coal, have become widespread. Structurally, such boilers are produced in cast iron and steel. Their difference lies in the service life and, accordingly, in weight due to the use of different heat exchangers.

The range of produced solid fuel models is very wide. In our market, three models operating on solid fuels have become widespread. The main solid fuel series is the Dakon dor boiler line.
Coal and wood fired boiler Dakon DOR owner reviews
There are the following reviews on Dakon boilers from owners and users:
Anton Kamolov, Syktyvkar: The boiler is normal, only in cold weather you have to come to it often. Coal burns well into dust. If only this boiler has a bigger bunker for fuel - it would not have a price. I use a Dakon DOR20 boiler, I heat a house from a bar with a total area of 185 square meters. I fire coal. Only the quality of coal is not the same from time to time, every season is different. But the boiler copes, the coal does not bake. I am satisfied.
There is also a review on the Dakon DOR boiler on the experience of using this wood-fired boiler:
Mikhail Shvatin, Kemerovo: I am drowning the “twenty” with firewood, since now you can easily get good firewood for 800 rubles per cubic meter. Everything would be fine, but the frankly small size of the firebox is annoying. We have to make almost toothpicks out of firewood. Perhaps the Czechs heat this boiler with briquettes, but we don't use briquettes. And normal logs are in use, which are never less than half a meter. So they have to be cut in half to heat a 20 kW boiler.
Next, let's look at the main pros and cons of these Czech boilers.
Description of the dor series
The Dakon solid fuel boiler of the dor series has seven models with a minimum power of 12 kW and a maximum power of 45 kW.
Tab. 1 Main technical parameters of Dakon dor boilers
The company has developed a more modern solid-fuel device of the dor F series. The main and main difference is that the design of the upper part for stowing fuel has been changed. Due to this, filling with fuel has become more convenient, and the appearance has become worse at the same time, the upper door has lost its lining. The design also changed slightly, and the minimum power became 13.5 kW. The operation of the dor f boiler is non-volatile.
The dor series is designed for heating apartment buildings, cottages.
The dor FDWT solid fuel model has appeared in the Dakon boilers line. This model uses a cooling coil. You can use firewood, brown coal, walnuts, briquettes and coal, compressed fuel, coke.
Fig. 2
Dakon boilers use solid fuels, mainly wood and coal in various forms. Solid fuel is considered the cheapest in comparison with other types of fuel, moreover, it is environmentally friendly and affordable. The fuel can have a moisture content of up to 35%, which is a high rate for combustion.
The burning time is the same for both types, the burning time is 8-12 hours, at a temperature outside the window of -30 degrees, the time will be halved. The most economical is brown coal, since it is on this fuel that the dor boiler works the longest. The choice of boiler power directly depends on the heated area and the level of heat losses. So, with an area of 100 - 120 square meters, a solid fuel boiler dakon dor 16 will be optimal.
Tab.2 Basic parameters of Dakon dor F boilers
There is a series of cast iron solid fuel boiler dakon FB. The main fuel for them is wood, reserve coal. This model can work with liquid fuel and gas fuel. For this, a separate kit is purchased. The power of such boilers is from 17 to 42 kW.
Customer Reviews
Buying a Dacon solid fuel boiler in Russia is not a problem. This equipment is sold in many stores and online stores - prices in the latter are slightly lower. We recommend that you read the user reviews before buying.
It is not destined to wait for the gas supply to our village, and wood-burning stoves have long outlived their usefulness. A couple of years ago, I erected a small extension to the house, I had to modernize the heating and install batteries throughout the hut. The stove was scrapped, as a result of which two small rooms turned into one large one. Its place was taken by the Dakon solid fuel boiler with a capacity of 20 kW. The study of specialized resources showed the presence of a large number of positive reviews. They did not deceive - the boiler works perfectly, converting firewood into heat. Compared to the last heating season, it took 15 percent less logs - no, but savings. The boiler is not picky in operation, there were no problems, as is often the case with other solid fuel units (judging by the same reviews).
An almost flawless solid fuel model for a country house. I bought my friend in the store, I take his word for it - the technique is excellent, without exaggeration. Works quietly, humming a little with strain. It uses firewood economically. To prepare hot water, Dakon connected a small 100-liter boiler to the boiler. Even the thickest firewood, including crookedly chopped wood, is placed inside the firebox. I read somewhere that there may be problems with a steel heat exchanger, but so far everything works without leaks and other troubles. A lot of ash is formed, I clean it every 3 days - this is a minus. The rather high cost is another drawback (there are more affordable boilers on sale). Overall, Dacon makes a decent technique.
The much-vaunted top-loading fuel proved to be less than convenient. I would like to look inside to lay the firewood to the maximum, and from there it glows with unbearable heat. The chimney becomes clogged with soot very quickly and has to be constantly cleaned. The only plus is the warmth throughout the house. I often throw up firewood, it’s not enough for a long time. There is a lot of ash, already a full garden of it. I wanted to heat with coal - it turned out that they do not recommend it. If in the future I will again choose a solid fuel boiler, I will buy a pellet maker with automatic feeding. There, both automation and fuel burns to the maximum. Dacon would not advise anyone.
Short description and operation
Structurally, the solid fuel boiler dakon consists of a body in which there are water sections, a fuel combustion chamber and grate. The combustion chamber, together with a new grate system, primary and secondary air supply, and its regulation, ensures good fuel combustion. The combustion chamber is lined with fireclay stone for reliability.
Asbestos-free technology is used for thermal insulation of Dor devices.
The grates of Dor heaters are rotatable and controlled by a shaking lever. It is located in a convenient place on the side of the boiler, and when it is necessary to separate the ash and slag from the fuel, you just need to shake it.
In the upper part there is a lid with a funnel expanding to the bottom for loading fuel. On the front, on the left side, there is a device that combines the capabilities of a manometer and a thermometer, by which it is convenient to monitor the temperature and pressure in the system.
On the right side, a power adjustment device is installed, which is connected through a chain to the throttle. The heat exchanger of the Dakon solid fuel boiler is three-pass. It is made of heat-resistant steel that can withstand significant thermal shock.
On the advantages of Dakon solid fuel boilers:
- Small, they can be installed in any small room;
- Reliable boiler design;
- Beautiful modern design;
- Loading of Dor series water heaters has become more convenient;
- Automatic power regulation, mechanical traction thermostat controls the air supply throttle;
- The prices of Dor solid fuel models are very low, even when compared to domestic appliances;
- High efficiency. The fuel is low in price.
Cons of Dakon solid fuel boilers:
- A small fuel fill, which in cold winter conditions has to be refueled up to 4-5 times per day;
- The temperature of the coolant must not be lowered below 65 ° C, otherwise condensation will form, which contributes to the destruction of the device.
So which Dakon should you choose? Dor series, or maybe another. Among the variety of solid fuel devices, it is easy to get lost. We pay the main attention to the question of what area to heat. From this we choose the power of the device. Each series of devices differs in its own nuances, first of all, it concerns the DakonFB series.
Fig. 3
An important role is played by the size of the combustion chamber, it is no secret that briquettes are mainly used in Western countries, it is very difficult to purchase even wood for the size of the firebox from us. If in the future it is planned to connect the central gas line, then you should consider purchasing a solid fuel apparatus from Dakon with the ability to connect a gas burner. Moreover, this function is optional.
One conclusion can be drawn. Any solid fuel product manufactured by Dakon is the best choice.
Features of operation of TT boilers Dakon
The main specialization of the company is the production of cast iron boilers for solid fuels. They are in the greatest demand as they are the most economical. This is due to the cheapness of fuel and the ability to work not only on fossil raw materials, but also on wastes from various types of industry. The main disadvantage of this boiler is the low level of efficiency, but even so, it requires the lowest costs for the heating season.
It is also important that a person constantly has to deal with the service, which consists of:
- - tossing fuel into the combustion chamber to maintain the operating temperature;
- - the need to rake out ash and other solid residues on a daily basis;
- - the need to periodically clean carbon deposits from the walls of the furnace;
- - the need for the construction of a high-quality chimney and its maintenance.
So TT heating boilers Dakon for their economy require a lot of work from the user. It will be especially inconvenient to get up in the middle of the night in order to throw up fuel and the boiler does not go out. If you do not do this, then every morning you will have to wake up in cold rooms, because the batteries cool quickly, especially in severe frost.
And firing up the device is not as easy as models using other types of fuel. But if these difficulties are not scary, then the boiler will be an excellent heater and water heater for the private sector. In addition, if you take a non-volatile model, then it will continue to function even if the light is turned off. And in rural areas this is not uncommon, and sometimes it takes several days to repair work.
Gas
The following gas boilers are manufactured by Dakon:
- Wall mounted gas;
- Floor gas;
- Cast iron gas floor.
Dakon boilers of the DUA series are available in three types with powers of 24, 28 and 30 kW, while they are capable of heating an area from 100 to 400 square meters. The water temperature in the system is from 40 to 90 ° C.
There are a lot of options. The Daacon company is constantly expanding the models of gas boilers, and today there are 16 modifications, both for heating and for hot water supply, with or without chimneys, with boilers and with running water.
When choosing a Dacon solid fuel boiler, we are guided, of course, by the technical characteristics of gas appliances. A good choice would be to purchase gas equipment with a boiler.In general, it is better to purchase Dacon gas equipment with two circuits. This will ensure the availability of water for both heating and water supply. Gas heating is more common than other types of heating.

Dacon company - history of development
In 1949, a small production of heating equipment appeared in the Czech Republic. But less than 20 years later, Dakon became one of the first manufacturers in its country to produce universal models of heating equipment. In those years, the production capacity of the company consisted of 5 factories, but the constant improvement of the manufactured products led to the emergence of new models.
In 2004, the company was bought out by the well-known German manufacturer Buderus and became part of the Bosch corporation. The result of this merger was a large industrial group specializing in the production of heating equipment. Today, the company's products are known all over the world, they are of high quality, unsurpassed reliability, and its solid fuel boiler Dacon also provides a price that is lower than that of similar devices from other manufacturers.
Floor standing
The line of Dakon floor standing boilers includes 21 models of gas appliances. The models are named Dakon P lux for steel execution, and cast iron boilers Dakon GL EKO. Minimum power 18 kW, maximum 48 kW. Non-volatile, have a two-stage power control. The devices use HONEYWELL CVI electronics without a gas wick. Such devices are used in closed and open systems.
Dakon P lux have advantages over other systems:
- Operation at reduced power, fuel economy is achieved at the beginning and end of heating seasons;

- The automation circuit does not use semiconductor devices, which makes the system very reliable;
- High ecology;
- Operation without human intervention;
- Complete noiselessness;
- Compactness;
- Convenience in connection;
- Ease of installation.
Disadvantages are also present:
- A number of models only work at 380 volts, so an appropriate connection is required to the house;
- High cost, since electricity consumption, depending on the boiler, is from 7 to 60 kW per hour. Not everyone can afford it.
Fig. five
In general, the convenience of electric boilers is a huge reason for purchasing them. What should you choose? Induction heater, on heating elements, or electrode heaters. So induction is considered very good, they are quite economical, but expensive.
The heating elements have a significant drawback, over time, scale forms on them, which leads to an increase in electricity consumption. Electrode heaters are very good, they are inexpensive, but they require special prepared heating water. Also, the devices require more frequent replacement of the electrodes.
Often they are placed in country houses, which they come to on weekends. Electrical appliances can be turned on remotely, or the temperature can be raised above the standby mode, and the necessary thermal comfort will be provided by the arrival of the owners. And after that, you can connect the Dakon solid fuel boiler of the Dor series.
Among European products, in their price category, Dakon devices are considered the best, slightly exceeding domestic developments in cost. We select the required power. You also need to select additional options, such as remote control.
Price question
Heating equipment from a Czech manufacturer belongs to the middle price category. Their cost ranges from 45,000 rubles for classic models to 124,000 rubles for pyrolysis machines. If we compare these data with prices for domestic solid fuel products, they are much higher. But at the same time, comparison with Western European products gives the opposite effect.
Consumer reviews, watch the video:
However, Dacon solid fuel boilers, the price of which differs depending on the series and model, justify it completely. After all, this equipment can easily compete with the products of the most famous companies in terms of quality, efficiency and ease of use.
"Dacon" is a time-tested technique and ... Russia
The widest assortment. This is not just a phrase that can be read in an advertising brochure of any manufacturer. If others use it only for the sake of a "catchphrase", to attract attention, then in our case it is pure truth. There is no other manufacturer on the Russian market that offers such a wide range of heating boilers. Among them: 1. Gas: a) wall-mounted: ❏ with natural discharge of combustion products; ❏ with forced removal of combustion products; ❏ with a flow-through heat exchanger for hot water supply; ❏ with built-in boiler. b) floor-standing: ❏ with a cast-iron heat exchanger; ❏ with steel heat exchanger; ❏ dependent on electricity supply; ❏ autonomous from electricity. 2. With replaceable burners for operation on liquid fuel and gas: ❏ for heating relatively small objects (up to 1000 m2 - NM); ❏ for heating enterprises, residential complexes, hotels, sanatoriums, etc. (Prexal). 3. Electrical: ❏ PTE; ❏ PTE L. 4. Solid fuel: ❏ traditional; ❏ gas generating. 5. Universal (solid, liquid or gaseous fuels). The breadth of the assortment is an indisputable advantage for any company working with DAKON products. After all, this is, firstly, the convenience associated with the purchase of a variety of boilers in one place, and secondly, the best commercial conditions, tk.you do not have to "spread" your budget when purchasing equipment from different suppliers, but you can purchase a variety of types of boilers from one manufacturer, and as a result receive the greatest discounts depending on the volume of purchases. It is clear that it is impossible to talk about so many models in one article, so we will focus on some of them that distinguish DAKON from a huge number of competitors. Gas boilers DAKON Plux Z As you know, the vast majority of imported gas boilers are not capable of operating without electricity. On the other hand, in Russia there are frequent cases of problems with electricity - somewhere it is supplied intermittently, and in some places it is completely absent. What are the ways out of this situation? The first is to simplify the boiler control system as much as possible and, due to the almost complete absence of automation, achieve independence from electricity (this applies, in particular, to domestic boilers). In this case, the boiler can only maintain the set temperature of the coolant (water or antifreeze) and will not be guided by the air temperature in your room. Czech engineers have found a second, more progressive method - using a built-in generator, which generates electricity from heat, which is necessary for the operation of the boiler automation. DAKON Plux Z boilers can be used with remote room thermostats, which will control the boiler and maintain the room temperature you set. Electric boilers The Czech company DAKON produces a wide range of electric boilers from 4 to 60 kW (30 models). The standard equipment of all DAKON electric boilers includes a multi-stage German WILO pump. Each boiler is equipped with a water pressure sensor, some modifications are equipped with a built-in expansion tank, a safety valve and a filter. Boilers up to 12 kW are available in two versions - single-phase and three-phase. The range includes models of both budget class (PTE) and the most modern and progressive (PTE L), equipped with quietly operating contactors, an improved operating mode signaling system, an expansion tank and a safety valve. DAKON solid fuel boilers are an obvious leader among foreign manufacturers in the sale of solid fuel boilers in Russia. Let's start with the traditional models. DAKON DOR. The indisputable advantage of this series is its high quality at an affordable price. It is no coincidence that these boilers are already successfully heating thousands of homes throughout Russia. DAKON DOR boilers are designed to burn almost all types of solid fuels: lignite and hard coal, briquettes, coke, wood and wood waste. Combustion efficiency is achieved through the use of a new grate system and a new combustion chamber design, using combined primary and secondary air and with the ability to adjust the supply of additional air. DAKON DOR series boilers can automatically maintain the set leaving water temperature. This is done in the following way. The boiler has a sensor that monitors the temperature of the water (heat carrier). It is mechanically connected to the combustion air damper. If the outlet temperature of the coolant becomes higher than the set one, the damper is automatically closed and the combustion process slows down. When the temperature drops, the damper automatically opens a little. Note that this device does not require an electrical connection. For the combustion of wood and wood waste, the designers of the DAKON company have developed a modification of the DAKON DOR D. The device of the DAKON DOR D boilers is in many respects similar to the device of the DOR series. They are distinguished by the addition of heat-resistant segments and fireclay boards to the combustion chamber, which act as catalysts and improve the combustion of wood. The advantage of these boilers is the ability to burn wood with a moisture content of up to 35% (these boilers can also be used to work on coal, coke, briquettes). There are six models of DAKON DOR boilers with capacities from 12 to 32 kW and two DAKON DOR D boilers with capacities of 32 and 45 kW.The volume of the loading chamber for DAKON DOR solid fuel boilers varies from 26 liters (for DOR 12 and DOR 16 models) to 115 liters (for DOR 45D). The efficiency of DAKON DOR boilers when using brown coal as fuel reaches 84%. Speaking of DAKON solid fuel boilers, one cannot fail to mention the models with pyrolysis wood combustion - GASOGEN and KP PYRO. Their main advantages are significantly higher efficiency (up to 85%) and ease of power regulation. The main difference between boilers with pyrolysis combustion is the combustion of not only the firewood itself, but also the wood gas released from them under the influence of high temperature. Wood gas is formed in the fuel hopper, then passes through a special nozzle and burns with a very clean yellow or even almost white flame. During this incineration, no soot is formed and a minimal amount of ash remains. The disadvantages of pyrolysis boilers include the need for power supply and a higher price compared to traditional solid fuel boilers. There are four modifications of KP PYRO boilers with a capacity from 18 to 38 kW and GASOGEN boilers with a capacity of 24 and 60 kW. Universal boilers DAKON FB boilers are designed for burning coal, anthracite and coke. For burning firewood, wood briquettes and wood waste, the DAKON FB D modification is more suitable. A very important feature of the FB and FB D boilers is the ability to connect blower burners to them for operation on gas or liquid fuel. DAKON FB and FB D boilers are assembled from high quality cast iron sections. Another advantage of these boilers is a long service life, even in low-temperature operation. They can be used in heating systems with both natural and forced circulation, in open systems and in systems with a pressurized expansion vessel. The DAKON FB and FB D series boilers include models with a capacity of 20; 26; 32; 36; 42 kW. The body of the DAKON FB boiler is made of high quality cast iron. An integral part of the body are fixed water-cooled grates. DAKON FB boilers are also equipped with a power regulator, which is daisy-chained to the boiler damper. Obviously, choosing a boiler that is most suitable both in price and in functionality is not an easy task, and the final decision should be made only after consulting with professionals. will help you quickly and efficiently select the optimal type of boiler, provide comprehensive support in the completion of objects, and also provide advisory and warranty support for products. HISTORY 1949 - DAKON began its existence. At that time, it consisted of several factories for the production of various equipment. Since 1965, the company has focused directly on the development and production of heating boilers up to 30 kW. Already in 1970, DAKON became the largest manufacturer of heating boilers operating on gas, liquid and solid fuels with an annual production of 20 to 30 thousand pieces. In addition to boilers, the production of all-metal structures for various construction purposes was launched. The company united five factories, which employed approximately 600 employees. Until 1990, DAKON produced 620 thousand heating boilers. 1990 - From 1991 to 1994 the state-owned DAKON gradually became the property of private companies. Thus, in 1994, private individuals acquired approximately 73% of the company's property, i.e. its large and most important part. They formed a limited liability company DAKON. In 1995, a foreign partner, UNICAL, joined the company and bought out a 10% share of the company's property. Boiler production increased from 13 thousand units. in 1994 up to 500 thousand in 2001. The model range has also significantly expanded. If in 1994 only 13 standard sizes of boilers with a capacity from 7 to 32 kW were produced, now the company's assortment includes more than 100 models with a capacity from 4 to 3500 kW, moreover, they operate on any type of fuel. 2003 - November 2003The German company BUDERUS acquired the majority of DAKON's shares and the company joined the largest European group of heating equipment manufacturers. The complete privatization of DAKON took place in July 2003, when BUDERUS merged with BOSCH. Currently, in the Czech Republic, the BOSCH group of companies is represented by the brands DAKON, BUDERUS, JUNKERS. The acquisition of DAKON made it possible for the BOSCH group of companies to become a leader among manufacturers of heating equipment in the Czech Republic, especially in wall-mounted boilers. Joining the BUDERUS group of companies is an important step for the further successful development of the company in an increasingly concentrated European market.
