Despite the simplicity of installing an electric heating boiler into a heating circuit, it is necessary to follow some mandatory instructions:

- the impossibility of fulfilling this condition, a circulation pump is installed in the system;
- the presence of an expansion tank in the heating circuit, where the electric boiler Evan epo 6 is used, is mandatory .. Using a membrane-type tank, a safety valve must be built-in in front of the valve;
- the boiler inlet and outlet must be equipped with ball valves required for repair and dismantling works;
- vertical installation of the boiler;
- for the control panel, it is recommended to install it at a height of about one and a half meters from the floor, in a room with good lighting;
- The heating system installation manual strictly prohibits the installation of shut-off valves in the heating system.
Boiler installation
In order to independently install the electric boiler, you will need:
- instructions that come with the kit;
- drill (preferably electric);
- profile;
- hardware, with the help of which the equipment will be mounted on the wall;
- cable of a certain section;
- installation bar;
- flanges, couplings;
- level;
- electric wire;
- fasteners;
- pipes;
- a set of keys;
- Evan boiler connection diagram.
Do not forget to check whether the wall on which the boiler will be installed is really strong enough.
Installation steps and progress
When you have made sure that you have all the necessary tools, and the wall surface meets the strength requirements, you can start connecting the Evan boiler. Perform all work according to the following plan:
- Using a level and a simple pencil, mark the future location of the boiler on the wall. Try to place it away from the water supply. Electricity and water supply are incompatible.
- Measure where the fasteners will be and drill the holes for the fasteners at the desired distance.
- Install the strip and mounting profile. Use a spirit level and see how level the mounts are. It is imperative that the boiler is held firmly and tightly (although Evan boilers are light enough, we do not recommend installing them on flimsy walls. In this case, it is better to use a floor boiler).
- Fix the boiler to the wall using dowels.
- If you have chosen a floor standing boiler, place a stand on the floor.
- The next step is grounding. Many ungrounded boilers simply won't work. Or, the indicator on the panel will flash continuously. To ground a new boiler, make a grounding center. This is a design of several metal pins that are connected to each other with conventional fittings. All this is buried in the ground. Lead the zero wire to the pins. Excessive voltage will now be immediately discharged to the ground. A 0.4 cm copper cable is best for grounding.
Important! Ungrounded or improperly grounded boilers are really dangerous to health and life. The use of ungrounded equipment is strongly discouraged.
- After suspending the boiler and grounding it, run a cable of a certain cross-section to it. To connect a three-phase boiler, connect wires M1, M2, M3. In this case, the zero cable is connected to the bus on the shield - in this case, grounding will occur through it.
- For safety reasons, install a residual current device near the boiler.
- Route the wires for the temperature sensors and the shutdown timer.
- Install the electric pump and expansion tank. To do this, use fasteners. In some models, they are already installed in the boiler. Install the pump on the water supply pipe next to the boiler.
- Connect the boiler, expansion tank and electric pump to each other with metal or reinforced-plastic pipes (note that reinforced-plastic pipes last longer and do not corrode).
- Hide the wires in cable channels and install a protective cover for fire safety.
- Now you can connect the boiler to your heating system. Use couplings and flanges to connect the boiler and piping.
- The final step is connecting to the network. First, make sure to properly ground and connect all wires. Check the instructions. Please note that the distance between the contacts is at least 0.3 cm. When everything is done, turn on the water supply and check how the boiler works.
